Volunteer

Greater York Dance depends on volunteers to assist in many areas. Greater York Dance offers parents and members of the community a chance to be involved in the School and Performing Company through several types of volunteer programs. We are always looking for individuals who are willing to give their time to assist us with various tasks throughout the year. It is an opportunity to learn about the "behind the scenes" work that goes into a performance, to help nurture and support the students and their education and, most of all, to have fun and be a part of the family at Greater York Dance.

Serving On A Committee is a great way to get started as a volunteer. Currently, we are searching for people to assist in many capacities. Serving On the Board – Our board members serve Greater York Dance by chairing a committee and committing to attending one meeting a month. Providing Office Support Do you have computer or office type skills? You need not be an expert… can you staple? We need you! Please volunteer – even just a few hours. Ask the Front Desk. We are always looking for talented people to assist in doing minor repairs around the dance center. This could range from painting, light carpentry work to changing light bulbs and assisting wherever your talents and time allow.
