At Greater York Center for Dance Education, our goal is simple ~ to inspire, encourage, and foster a love of dance. Under the direction of Lori Garling Pergament, we strive to provide dancers of all ages a positive, caring, and motivating atmosphere in which students build self-esteem through positive feedback and challenge. We wish to enrich the lives of everyone who chooses to dance. Greater York is a genuine leader in the dance world. Here in York, PA, Greater York Dance offers about 80 dance classes per week that follow national standards of dance education. Students and teachers have the opportunity to achieve more here than almost anywhere else.

We realize that every one of our students has aspirations unique to them, and we have total respect for everyone's goals. With a solid technical background, every student is able to dance with joy and fulfillment knowing that our highly qualified faculty is there to cheer them onward.

We are about family and as a nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving YOU, we put all of our funds back into our programs. Greater York Dance provides affordable, quality instruction in a supportive and fun environment with performances that are suitable for audiences of all ages.
